Local sage grouse working group to meet in Worland
The Bighorn Basin Sage Grouse Working Group will meet August 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Washakie County Fairgrounds in Worland. The purpose of the meeting is to allocate annual funding to implement sage grouse conservation plans.
The Bighorn Basin Sage Grouse Local Working Group is one of eight local working groups in Wyoming. Each is composed of citizens representing various stakeholder groups interested in sage grouse conservation and associated land management issues.
