Wheatland Public Meeting - Mountain Lion Hunting Season
In an effort to address community concerns, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department is hosting a special meeting at the First State Bank Conference Center in Wheatland on May 28 at 6 p.m. to address proposed changes to mountain lion hunting seasons.
The proposed Chapter 42 changes can be viewed on the Game and Fish Website.
Wildlife managers will present the proposed changes and will address questions. All interested individuals are encouraged to attend and submit written comments. Written comments will be accepted through 5 p.m. on June 10, and may be submitted in the following ways:

All comments received will be provided to the Game and Fish Commission prior to its July 2025 public hearing in Evanston.
