Green River Region Fisheries Open House
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is hosting a public open house to discuss the latest fisheries management activities, research, and regulation updates concerning the Flaming Gorge Reservoir, the Green River, and other southwest Wyoming waters.
The event is an opportunity for anglers and interested citizens to connect directly with regional fisheries biologists, ask questions, and provide feedback on the management of these vital resources.
What: Flaming Gorge/Green River Fisheries Open House
When: Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.

Potential topics for discussion include:
- Highlights on prominent fisheries in the region, including recent fish population assessments and access improvements
- Overview of coming changes to Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) regulation
- Introduction of the new regional fisheries biologist, Colton Curtis
- Question and Answer (Q&A) session
Waters that will be discussed but not limited to will include Flaming Gorge Reservoir, Fontenelle Reservoir, the Green River, Sulphur Creek Reservoir, and Viva Naughton.
