Jackson Region public meeting to discuss black bear and bison proposed regulation changes
JACKSON – The Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s Jackson Region invites the public to discuss proposed changes to the following regulations:
- Chapter 3: Black Bear Hunting Seasons
- Chapter 41: Bison Designated as Wildlife
The meeting will take place at the Jackson Game and Fish Regional Office, located at 420 N. Cache St, on November 20, at 5 p.m. Attending a public meeting is a great way to learn about local wildlife populations, ask questions, and interact with Game and Fish biologists and wardens.
Copies of the proposed regulations are available on the Game and Fish website. Written comments shall be accepted through 5 p.m. December 8, online, at public meetings or by mailing:

Written comments will be presented to the Game and Fish Commission before their January 2026 meeting in Cheyenne.
