GREEN RIVER— The deadline to submit your crucial public comments on Flaming Gorge fishing regulations is June 10 at 5 p.m. The proposed regulations, which are available for review online, are open for your input. The proposed changes aim to reduce the abundance of small lake trout in the reservoir and decrease predation on trout and fingerling kokanee.

Some of the proposed changes include classifying lake trout in Flaming Gorge as nongame fish while still only allowing possession of one lake trout over 28 inches in length and reducing the creel limit for kokanee from four to three in the aggregate limit of four trout.

Written comments will be accepted online or by mail to Wyoming Game and Fish Department, Regulations, 3030 Energy Lane, Casper, WY 82604.
