Game and Fish Commissioners’ licenses provide amazing hunting opportunities and support nonprofits
“This is an incredible opportunity because it offers a unique hunting experience and all of the money from the sale goes to benefit charitable causes. I want to thank our Commissioners for their thoughtful donations,” said Scott Talbott, director of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.

To get more information about this program and to find out which nonprofit organizations are raffling or auctioning off Commissioner’s licenses visit Game and Fish’s website.

The unique opportunity related to Commissioner licenses is that the winner from the raffle or auction designates the specific non-resident deer region or deer, elk or antelope hunt area at the time they get the licensed issued to them. Another unique aspect of  Commissioner licenses is that the holders are exempt from some limitations on the number of licenses an individual can possess in any one calendar year. What this means is that one hunter could have two licenses that would allow them to  harvest two bull elk.

The seven Game and Fish Commissioners are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate. They are selected from Judicial District as set in Wyoming state law.
