ASK GAME & FISH

"Ashley, where can kids learn more about fish, wildlife, habitat and what Game and Fish does?"

Wildlife is exciting to learn about; did you know the long-tailed weasel can eat up to ⅔ of its body weight in food each day? If you like learning fun wildlife facts check out Wild Times! Wild Times is a Wyoming Game and Fish Department quarterly publication for kids, families and educators. You can sign up to receive Wild Times to your e-mail.

Each issue of Wild Times includes a habitat story, Game and Fish field journal, wildlife profiles, and features about Game and Fish projects around Wyoming. There’s also an outdoor classroom craft, activity or game to play. Quiz yourself to see how much you learned in each issue in the “Test Your Knowledge” section and follow up on your favorite topics with “Learning Links.”

All of the past and current issues of Wild Times can be found on our website along with more lesson plans and fun activities for kids.
