Pinedale Kids Fishing Day – June 1

Get your kiddos hooked on fishing at Pinedale’s annual Kids Fishing Day on Saturday, June 1. The event will take place at the Dudley Key Fields Pond (located behind the Bus Barn). Families are invited to attend. Registration opens at 10 a.m. and is free of charge.

Youth who register will receive a gift bag of fishing supplies. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will provide fishing gear and worms. Employees from several local agencies will be on hand to help mentor youth anglers.

Game and Fish regularly stocks trout in the pond.

Each year Game and Fish designates the first Saturday of National Boating and Fishing Week as a free fishing day when anyone can fish in Wyoming — except within the Wind River Reservation and Yellowstone National Park  —  without a fishing license.

All fishing regulations, creel and size limits, gear restrictions and stream closures remain in effect. Anglers can review the 2024 Fishing Regulations online before heading out and planning their trips with the interactive fishing guide.

The event is sponsored by the Town of Pinedale, Wyoming Game and Fish Department, Bridger-Teton National Forest and Bureau of Land Management.

To learn more about the event contact Hilda Sexauer at the Pinedale Regional Game and Fish office at 307-367-4353. Game and Fish supports the Americans with Disabilities Act. Anyone needing auxiliary aids to attend this event should call the above number. Every effort will be made to make reasonable accommodations.
