Clayton McCall | Wheatland

Clayton is originally from Loveland, Colorado. He attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology and Management in . Following graduation, he worked in a variety of positions in Wyoming, Idaho and South Dakota, including working as a biologist technician at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department's Sybille Research Station on HWY 34 between Wheatland and Laramie. There he assisted in the daily operations of the facility. For the last 3 years, he has been a game warden in Granby, Colorado. 

He is looking forward to learning the Wheatland game warden district better, engaging with the community and meeting with landowners. In his time off, you can find him exploring the outdoors through fishing, hunting and backpacking. 

 

 

Zach Bernhardt | North Laramie

Zach grew up in Colorado fishing, camping and hiking the Rocky Mountains where he first discovered his passion for wildlife and the outdoors. He attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Wildlife Management. Following graduation, he worked as a Wyoming game warden in Lander and North Riverton. 


He is excited to serve the Laramie community and surrounding area. In particular, he anticipates connecting with Laramie’s growing population of first-time anglers, hunters and recreationists and wants to be an educational resource to make those experiences even more enjoyable. 

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. Together, they enjoy hiking, fishing, attending community events and meeting new people. 

 

 

Elise Calhoun | South Laramie

Elise was born and raised in New England and attended the University of Connecticut to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Fisheries before making her way out west. She has been in Wyoming since 2020 when she started work with Game and Fish as a fisheries technician. Most recently, she was the North Laramie game warden. Elise and her husband are excited to remain a part of the Laramie community.

 

On and off-duty, you can find her covering ground on foot, mountain bike, and snowmobile, often joined by her bird dog. She’s excited to work with hunters, trappers, anglers and recreationists of all kinds in the Snowies and Laramie plains.
