April 2 is the final day to submit comments online for season setting

CHEYENNE — Public meetings for the 2025 Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s season-setting and regulation-change proposal discussions have concluded, however, there is still time to submit feedback and concerns online.

The comments portal will close at 5 p.m. on April 2. A full summary and draft regulations can be found on our Get Involved page.

 

Information on the proposed hunt seasons, as well as recorded presentations from each wildlife biologist district can be found on our website.

 

Changes and updates to the following regulations and hunting seasons are being discussed:

 

  • Chapter 2, General Hunting Regulation.
  • Chapter 5, Antelope Hunting Seasons. 
  • Chapter 6, Deer Hunting Seasons. 
  • Chapter 7, Elk Hunting Seasons. 
  • Chapter 8, Moose Hunting Seasons.
  • Chapter 9, Bighorn Sheep and Mountain Goat Hunting Seasons.
  • Chapter 11, Upland Game Bird and Small Game Hunting Seasons. 
  • Chapter 14, Migratory Game Bird Hunting Seasons and Light Goose Conservation Order. 
  • Chapter 15, Wild Bison Recreational Hunting Season. 
  • Chapter 20, Wild Turkey Hunting Season.
