Game and Fish Casper Region to host public meeting on proposed changes to black bear hunting regulations

CASPER— The Casper Region of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department will host a public meeting Dec. 4 to discuss regulation proposals for Chapter 3: Black Bear Hunting Seasons. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. and will be held at Eastern Wyoming Community College, 800 S. Windriver Dr. in Douglas.

 

The public is encouraged to attend to learn about proposed regulation changes and local wildlife populations, ask questions and to visit with Game and Fish biologists and wardens. 

 

Copies of the proposed regulations are available on the Game and Fish website. Written comments shall be accepted through 5 p.m. December 8, online, at public meetings or by mailing:

Written comments will be presented to the Game and Fish Commission before their January 2026 meeting in Cheyenne.
