Public encouraged to provide input for Game and Fish regulations, Chapters 23 and 44
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is holding public meetings and has opened a comment period through July 29, 2016 on proposals to Game and Fish Lands and License Issuance regulations. The Game and Fish is proposing to clarify the lands regulation by changing all references to “Private Lands/Public Wildlife” to “Access Yes.” The definition of “motor vehicle” is being expanded and the Game and Fish is proposing commercial outfitting not be permitted at the Osage Pond Public Access Area.

Among the proposals to license regulations is disqualifying applicants who attempt to breech license application security and eliminating the resident and nonresident party application for sandhill crane permits. The Game and Fish is also proposing to simplify the definition of “Nonprofit Organization Dedicated to Providing Hunting Opportunities to Individuals with Disabilities.”
All interested parties are encouraged to attend one of the following meetings discussing these regulation proposals:

Comments must be received by 5 p.m. July 29, 2016. Proposed regulations are posted on the Game and Fish website. All comments received during the comment period will be presented to the Game and Fish Commission prior to their Sept. 7-8 meeting in Kemmerer.
