The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission approved a revised Three-State Memorandum of Agreement for Grizzly Bear Management at its most recent meeting.

Cheyenne - The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission approved a revised Three-State Memorandum of Agreement for Grizzly Bear Management at its most recent meeting. The changes were necessary to make the memorandum of agreement consistent across all three states.

The agreement outlines how Wyoming, along with Idaho and Montana, will manage grizzly bears when they come off of the endangered species list. The Commission originally approved this agreement during a special meeting in May. Following review and consideration by other state wildlife commissions, minor changes were made to the memorandum to ensure consistency with other delisting documents and to provide additional clarification. Consideration of these changes was the topic of the August 11 Commission teleconference.

The Three-State Memorandum of Agreement for Grizzly Bear Management is available for download from the Game and Fish website.
