X-Bar Ranch HMA is open August 15 - October 31 for the taking of Antelope, Elk is from August 1 - December 31 and access through the X-Bar Ranch HMA for Antelope (area 45), Deer (Area 76), Mountain Lion (Area 7) and Bear (Area 8) during the specific species season as published in the current Game and Fish Commission Regulations. 

Hunters may receive either a Strouss Hill OR an X-Bar Ranch permission slip to hunt antelope, NOT BOTH!
