Prairie dogs are defined as non-game animals. There are no license requirements or stamps required to shoot prairie dogs. There are no bag limits. It is illegal to shoot prairie dogs from any public road. 

When taking them with a firearm, hunters need to have proof of hunter safety certification, unless otherwise exempted.
