CHEYENNE — Raffle tickets for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department Commissioner’s license are available for purchase.. Proceeds from the raffle will go directly to the Wyoming Hunger Initiative.

Food from the Field is part of the Wyoming Hunger Initiative, led by First Lady Jennie Gordon. Food from the Field is a partnership between Game and Fish and the Wyoming Department of Agriculture that addresses food insecurity in Wyoming by allowing hunters to donate deer and elk meat to food pantries across Wyoming. Since its inception in 2019, Food from the Field has distributed nearly 70,000 pounds of sustainable meat.

Each year, the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission awards Commissioner licenses to nonprofit and charitable organizations such as the Wyoming Hunger Initiative. The licenses offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the winner to purchase a deer, antelope or elk tag for any open unit in the state.
