Plan ahead for hunting in the Little Snake River Valley
BAGGS — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department encourages hunters, anglers and boaters visiting the Little Snake River Valley to plan ahead and purchase their required licenses in advance. The Baggs area no longer has a license-selling agent, so licenses with carcass coupons for hunting will not be available for purchase in or near town. Visit the Game and Fish website to view a map of license-selling agent locations.
Licenses are available for purchase online, however, online purchasers should allow 10 business days for the following licenses to be mailed:
- Black bear
- Deer – Full price
- Deer – Reduced price doe/fawn
- Elk – Full price
- Elk – Reduced price cow/alf
- Fall turkey
- Mountain lion
- Spring turkey
The following licenses may be purchased online and printed or stored electronically:
- Conservation Stamp
- Elk Special Management Permit
- Pheasant Special Management Permit
- Archery permit
- Wildlife Damage Management Stamp
- Daily fishing license
- Annual fishing license
- Bird/Small Game combined annual license
- Bird/Small Game combined daily license
- Bird annual license
- Small Game annual license

- Furbearer / Trapping
- Light Goose Conservation Order Permit
- Reciprocity Stamp (Flaming Gorge)
- General sandhill crane permit
- Sage-rouse hunting permit
