CODY- The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has temporarily closed the Dry Medicine Lodge Creek Road, commonly referred to as the Dugway Road, in Medicine Lodge Wildlife Habitat Management Area near Hyattville. The road will be closed to vehicle traffic until crews can repair a washout, rock slide and other damage that has rendered the road impassable.

“The Dry Medicine Lodge Creek Road will be closed to vehicle traffic at the gate near the campground until crews can repair the damage,” said Habitat and Access Biologist Eric Shorma. “The upper end of the road accessed from the national forest will be open to vehicle traffic, but the lower section of the road is closed at the top of the dugway. The road remains open to foot and horseback travel.”
