Game Warden Connor Worthen

LARAMIE – Game Warden Connor Worthen,  is transferring to the Saratoga District to replace Levi Wood, who transferred to the South Cody District. A sixth-generation Wyomingite from Casper, Worthen earned a bachelor’s degree in rangeland ecology and watershed management from the University of Wyoming. His experience includes ranch work in northern Albany County and serving as a range technician for the U.S. Forest Service in Laramie. He began his duties as a warden in the Laramie Region in July 2023 and was placed in the Medicine Bow District in June the following year.

“During my field training, I really came to enjoy the Platte Valley, and the great wildlife resources that are in it” says Worthen. The Saratoga District encompasses the east side of the Sierra Madres, the West side of the Snowy Range, and the Platte Valley from the state line to just south of Interstate 80.
