Topics to be discussed at the meeting include:

  1. Discuss potential allocation of funds ($28,000) from the WGFD for sage grouse conservation in the Upper Snake River Basin sage grouse working group area.
  2. Lek counts for surveys April-May 2019 and what it means in terms of population trends and viability.
  3. Discussion of the Wyoming Greater Sage Grouse Adaptive Management Plan
The public is invited to attend the meeting and a public participation period will be scheduled. Contact Joe Bohne at 307-654-7865 or Aly Courtemanch at 307-733-2321 for additional information.
The group is one of eight regional working groups statewide. Each is composed of citizens representing groups interested in sage grouse conservation.
