Lifetime archery license now available for Wyoming residents
Wyoming residents may now purchase a lifetime archery license. A license is $202 and may be obtained from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department Cheyenne Headquarters or any regional office.
An archery license is required to hunt in the special archery season. The only exception is for holders of Type 9 archery-only licenses. Persons holding Type 9 licenses do not need a separate archery license.
The archery license does not allow a person to take an extra animal – it simply allows the archer to hunt in the special archery season. Only one archery license is required to hunt all big and trophy game animals.
In addition to archery, the Game and Fish offers game bird, small game, and fishing lifetime licenses and lifetime conservation stamps. To be eligible, an individual must be a resident who has continuously resided in Wyoming for at least 10 years immediately preceding the date of application. Lifetime conservation stamps are available to residents and non-residents with additional requirements.
