The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is holding a public meeting and has opened a comment period to gather input about expanding the oversight of what damages, specific to trophy game animals, that can be claimed under existing state law and the Commission’s Regulation Governing Big or Trophy Game Animal or Game Bird or Gray Wolf Damage Claims. The meeting is Tuesday, July 24 at 6 p.m. in Casper at the Casper Regional Game and Fish office, 3030 Energy Lane.

Written comments shall be accepted through 5 p.m. August 20 by mailing:

Comments can also be submitted online. Copies of the proposed regulation are available on the Game and Fish website and at the address above in accordance with Chapter 1 Regulation Governing Access to Public Records.

Written comments shall be presented to the Game and Fish Commission prior to the public hearing at their September 18-19 meeting at the Whiskey Mountain Conservation Camp near Dubois.
