As an angler, you are receiving this Monthly Fishing Update to provide you with important information about fishing in Wyoming and to say thanks for your contribution to Wyoming’s incredible fishing resource. Fishing in this state is impressive right now. We are seeing a heyday when it comes to the variety of fishing opportunities, the sizes of fish and the abundance.

The Monthly Fishing Update is a new publication from Game and Fish. This newsletter is for you and will help you to fully experience fishing in the Cowboy State. Inside each issue you will find articles that enhance your skills, tell stories about fishing success, and highlight Game and Fish projects and people.

Wyoming’s wealth and continued quality of wildlife is the result of sportsmen and women who have paid for its management through licenses fees. The wildlife in Wyoming belongs to all of us--we work ensure it is there for you. Your investment in wildlife is greatly valued. It allows us to stock over 5 million fish each year in 450 different waters. It also allows Game and Fish to improve fish habitat and create more access to lakes, streams, ponds, rivers and reservoirs. I thank all of you for your your strong contribution to Wyoming’s fishing heritage.
