The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is working with many partners to improve fisheries habitat for the long-term. By helping streams balance their water and sediment with the size of their channel, trout and other fish can thrive while landowners lose less land to eroding streambanks and flooding. Fisheries in places like Riverside, Casper and Lander are benefitting from this work, and it even helps wildlife and birds by enhancing the  belt of vegetation alongside the stream. Thanks for taking an interest in these fisheries projects.
