It can be hard to remember the additional stamps and permits you need if you draw a license to stay in compliance with laws and regulations. To help with that, at the beginning of this year, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department added the ability to opt-in to automatically purchase a Conservation Stamp if successful in a license draw. With a simple click of a checkbox, you can opt-in and not worry about being afield without your Conservation Stamp.
If you are successful in the draw and selected the Conservation Stamp option, we will charge your credit card and print your Conservation Stamp privilege on your license. The charge will appear on your credit card shortly after draw results are released. The sale will be dependent on your credit card working.
If you have already purchased a Conservation Stamp for the year or are a holder of one of our Lifetime Conservation Stamps, you will not be prompted with the option. In addition to Conservation Stamps, we also offer Elk Special Management Permits in the new opt-in format, for people applying in hunt areas that require that permit.
