Youth invited to Kids Fishing Day in Jackson and Afton
Kids are invited to “get hooked on fishing” at the annual Kids Fishing Day events in Jackson and Afton. The events will take place on June 7 at the following locations:

The Kids Fishing Day event in Jackson will feature learning stations and a free hot dog lunch at noon, courtesy of the Jackson Hole Lions Club, Creekside Market, and U.S. Foods. Registration starts at 10:30 am at R Park. Kids who complete learning stations will receive free fishing gear, provided by Jackson Hole One Fly, Game and Fish, and the Teton County Conservation District. Activities will continue until 2:00 pm, after which families can stay to fish on their own.
The Afton Kids Fishing Day event, hosted by the Bridger-Teton U.S. Forest Service, Wyoming Game and Fish Department, and the Star Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department and Jackson Hole One Fly and Wild Wyoming Outfitters will provide fishing rods and bait, which the kids can take home.
