CHEYENNE — If you are looking for a creative, last-minute Christmas present, consider purchasing a Wyoming  Super Tag raffle ticket in the name of a loved one, and give them the chance to win a hunt of a lifetime through this annual event.

Each year, 11 hunters win the opportunity to purchase a license to hunt iconic Wyoming species. Bighorn sheep, moose, elk, mountain goat, mule deer or white-tailed deer, wild bison, pronghorn, mountain lion, gray wolf and black bear are all eligible under Super Tag.

Hunters can purchase a single ticket for $10 to target a specific species, or a $30 ticket to win the Super Tag Trifecta, which is the opportunity to hunt three eligible species in one year’s hunting seasons.

Since its inception in 2013, Super Tag has raised more than $12.5 million for conservation, with $1.5 million raised in 2024. All Super Tag funds stay in Wyoming and go toward habitat projects, big game surveys and more for conservation efforts. 

The deadline to purchase Super Tag tickets is Jan. 31, and the winners will be announced in mid-February. Tickets for the 2027 Super Tag will go on sale in February 2026. Visit the Game and Fish website for more information and to purchase Super Tag tickets.
