Local sage grouse working group to meet in Greybull
Sage grouse on lek

CODY - The Big Horn Basin Sage Grouse Local Working Group will hold a meeting from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14 at the Big Horn County Weed and Pest office (4782 US-310) in Greybull.

During the meeting, the working group will discuss projects and allocate funds to implement their sage grouse conservation plan.

The group is one of eight regional working groups statewide. Each is composed of citizens representing groups interested in sage grouse conservation. The group develops and initiates conservation plans to benefit sage grouse and, when feasible, other species that use sagebrush habitats. The Game and Fish Department supports the Americans with Disabilities Act. Every effort will be made for reasonable accommodations by contacting the nearest Game and Fish office.
