Beaver shown in a river

CODY-The Wyoming Game and Fish Department and The Nature Conservancy-Wyoming are partnering to host a Living with Beavers workshop in Cody Sept. 16.

The workshop's aim is to connect landowners and land managers in the Big Horn Basin with information and resources to mitigate or reduce conflicts with beavers.

Presenters with Game and Fish and the National Wildlife Federation-MT will provide expertise and technical tools for mitigating conflicts with beavers on private property and discuss beaver management and translocation in Wyoming.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 16 at the Game and Fish Regional office (2 Tilden Trail) in Cody. An optional field trip will be offered from noon until 5 p.m.  This event is free and open to the public. Online registration is requested.
