June 6 - Pinedale Kids Fishing Day Event

PINEDALE - Young anglers are invited to the annual Kids Fishing Day event in Pinedale on Saturday, June 6. The event will take place at Mitchell Pond, located behind the Bus Barn in Pinedale. 

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department regularly stocks plenty of trout in the pond. Parents are also invited to come and share in the fun.

All kids are invited to participate in the event with open registration beginning at 10:00 a.m., and all who register will receive a gift bag of fishing supplies. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will provide fishing gear and worms, and employees from several local agencies will be on hand to help mentor youth anglers. The entire event is free of charge.

Sponsors of the event include the Town of Pinedale, Game and Fish, Bridger-Teton National Forest, Trout Unlimited, Pinedale Little League, and Bureau of Land Management.
