June 6 - Afton Kids Fishing Day Event

The Afton Kids Fishing Day event is hosted by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, the Bridger-Teton National Forest Service, and the Star Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department, Jackson Hole One Fly, and Wild Wyoming Outfitters will provide fishing rods and bait, which kids can take home. 

Additionally, Saturday, June 6, 2026, marks Wyoming's Free Fishing Day, allowing anyone to fish statewide without a license or Conservation Stamp, though all other fishing regulations and limits remain in effect.
