PINEDALE/JACKSON - The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has lifted fire bans on Game and Fish Commission-owned and managed lands within Sublette, Teton and Lincoln Counties.

Game and Fish implemented the fire ban in July to coincide with county-wide fire bans in an effort to protect resources and property. The fire ban applied to all Game and Fish Commission-owned and managed lands across the three counties, including 18 Wildlife Habitat Management Areas and 43 Public Access Areas.

Sportspersons are urged to continue to use caution when using campfires and grills.  Check the status of fire bans on Wyoming Game and Fish Commission lands across the state.
