Deadline nears for Wyoming Wildlife Magazine Photo Contest

CHEYENNE. — Photographers have one week to enter the Wyoming Wildlife magazine’s annual Photo Contest. The deadline is 11:59 p.m., Monday, Nov. 17.

 

Photographers can submit up to 10 photographs across four categories: 

  • Wildlife: Wild mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and arthropods. (Priority is given to species managed by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.)
  • Scenic: Images in which landmarks, scenery or inanimate objects are prominent.
  • Recreation: People enjoying the outdoors through hunting, fishing, hiking, backpacking, etc.
  • Flora: Wildflowers, foliage, fruiting bodies or other parts of plants.

Winning entries will be published in the February 2026 photo issue of Wyoming Wildlife. The judging process begins Dec. 1, 2025, and winners will be notified by the end of December.
