Muddy Mountain Hunter Management Area is open September 1st – January 31st for the take of antelope and elk during the specific species season as published in the current Game and Fish Commission Regulations.
No taking of deer, mountain lion, black bear, sage grouse, partridge, or blue (dusky) grouse without landowner written permission!
NO TRAVEL THROUGH HMA TO TAKE WILDLIFE NOT LISTED ON PERMISSION SLIP!
Permission slips will NOT be given for deer hunting.
Note: Inclement weather typically precludes access to this area by early December. Roads, including the Bates Creek Road and Bates Hole Stock Trail, are not maintained in the winter. Plan appropriately!
