EXPECT HEAVY TRAINING SCHEDULES AND FREQUENT CLOSURES THIS FALL! Military training schedules are filling up quickly for 2024 and 2025. Hunters should be prepared to utilize Walk-In Areas or other properties for their hunts.
Broom Creek is open from September 1 - May 20 for the take of species as listed in the current Game and Fish Commission Regulations and as allowed by Camp Guernsey only.
*The taking of Mountain Lion or Bobcat is not allowed!

If you have a spring turkey permit please reprint it due to an error on earlier permission slips with closing date of May 3rd.

All individual hunters must check-in, sign in will open 9:00 AM two days before the planned hunt day and close at 5:00 PM on the day of the hunt (same day sign in is allowed). Please see ranch rules for more information. However, if plans change the WYMD request that if a hunter signed in and decides not to hunt on that day they should call 307-772-5036 so other hunters can be let on.
Big Game (deer, antelope, and elk) and other species Permission Slips for Broom Creek HMA: Unlimited "Archery Only" permission slips are issued for the take of big game species from September 1 - 30. Unlimited permission slips for Big Game opens July 11. Permission slips for all hunt periods will be unlimited through WGFD from Broom Creek HMA. The WYMD will still control the number of hunters allowed on Camp on any given day. Further information see Ranch Rules.
