Game and Fish personnel the local Pinedale office and the Cheyenne headquarters teamed up to offer 5th & 6th graders from Pinedale a three-day camp loaded with outdoors activities to connect them with nature. Activities include fish and wildlife and their habitat, aquatic ecology, navigation, fishing and archery. The popular day camps were initiated in 2017 and are conducted throughout the summer at many Wyoming towns each year. "Camp WILD is for kids who enjoy learning, being outside and trying new activities," says Ashley Leonard, Game and Fish Conservation Education Coordinator. "Our goal is to get students excited about conservation!"
