Fisheries biologists with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department recently stocked tiger trout into Meeks Lake in the Wind River Range. The tiger trout stocked are fingerling-sized. Tiger trout were stocked into Meeks Lake to provide a fun fishing opportunity for anglers. In addition, Tiger trout prey on Brook trout, so this will keep the Brook trout population in check, while providing variety for anglers.
