Ice fishing around the region should be good in 2019, assuming we get good ice.  At Seminoe, trout and walleye populations are both high right now.  Walleye averaged 14 inches in our fall sampling while rainbow trout averaged 16 inches.  Walleye over 30 inches and trout over 20 inches are present in good numbers as well.  Fish populations at Pathfinder are not as high as Seminoe right now, but nonetheless, Pathfinder will provide good ice fishing opportunities.  Walleye averaged 14 inches and rainbows averaged 18 inches.  Similar to Seminoe, Pathfinder harbors walleye over 30 inches and trout in excess of 20 inches.  The trout population in Alcova is doing well.  Rainbows, Snake River and Bear River cutthroat, kokanee and brown trout are doing well.  Walleye are present in Alcova but can prove to be difficult to catch through the ice at this water body.  Most trout species average around 15 inches with some fish over 20 inches being caught.  Walleye average 15 inches at Alcova with fish over 30 inches also present.  At Glendo, walleye averaged 15 inches.  Glendo also has good numbers of both white and black crappie, channel catfish and yellow perch.
