The North Fork Popo Agie Public Access Area (PAA) is located on a an easement on the North Fork Popo River, north of Lander. The PAA is accessed from N. 2nd St. and Vessel Rd. and has a single parking area. This PAA provides parking for fishing access only, no camping, fires or hunting. Fishing for cutthroat, brown, and rainbow trout, and mountain whitefish is excellent on the North Fork Popo Agie. The North Fork Popo Agie does not have a boat launch. In the riparian areas along the river moose, whitetail deer, mule deer and Pronghorn antelope are common. The North Fork Popo Agie River PAA is north of Lander, WY. Turn east on Vessel Rd from N. 2nd St. and follow to fishing access parking area. The access road and parking area are not plowed during the winter season.
