Approximately 13 miles east of Casper, the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission hold an easement on 1.3 acres of OSLI land that comprises the North Platte River – Big Muddy Bridge Public Access Area. This PAA features an extensive parking area for vehicles and boat trailers, a modern comfort station, and a primitive boat ramp. The parking area also serves as a legal access point to hundreds of acres of surrounding OSLI land. The river provides quality fishing year-round for rainbow and brown trout, as well as waterfowl hunting opportunities. No camping or fires allowed. WGFD does not plow the parking area in the winter.
