You’re invited: Conservation Stamp Art Show

The public is invited to attend the 33rd annual Wyoming Game and Fish Conservation Stamp Art Show. The show and opening reception is Cheyenne at the Game and Fish Headquarters on Thursday, April 14, 2016 beginning at 5 p.m. Admission to the show is free, and the awards ceremony and artwork sales will begin at 6 p.m.

The mallard duck (anas platyrhynchos) is the subject for the 2017 contest. The mallard is the primary species on which the annual waterfowl regulation framework is based and is the bread and butter of waterfowl hunting in Wyoming.

“The show features numerous high-quality paintings and entries from one of the largest pool of submissions in recent years,” said Margaret James, Conservation Stamp Art Show coordinator.

Artwork will be available for sale and will be on exhibit through June 1, 2016.
