New outreach specialist to focus on serving Game and Fish customers and media
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has carried on an effort, which is not done in every state, to provide over the phone and in person customer service. This involves making sure phones are answered by live people and that staff members can answer questions about hunting, fishing and wildlife in Wyoming.

Joining the team of regional personnel, headquarters staff is a new outreach specialist, Sara DiRienzo. DiRienzo is a Wyoming native, who has years of public relations experience. Her role will be to help customers to make sure they have the best possible experience in Wyoming and to provide information and assistance to members of the media.

“Wyoming has some of the best wildlife in the world and Game and Fish wants to help members of the public enjoy that resource. We believe Sara’s skills and experience will continue to serve customers and find ways to better reach out with needed information,” said Game and Fish Communications Director Renny MacKay.

DiRienzo is a graduate of the University of Wyoming, who grew up in Cheyenne. She worked for seven years at the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities as the Coordinator for Information Dissemination.

“As a Wyoming native and angler, I have avidly enjoyed the outdoors and wildlife throughout our state. I’m excited to help all people get outside and enjoy Wyoming landscapes through hunting and fishing,” said DiRienzo.
