The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission is meeting in Casper, and the public is invited to comment during the finalization of season setting for hunting. The meeting is April 20-21, 2017 at the McMurray Training Center located at 2220 Bryan Stock Trail.
In addition to season setting discussion and finalization, the Commission’s agenda includes topics such as: wildlife management strategies such as objectives, data collection, season setting, and harvest management techniques; chronic wasting disease and brucellosis updates; and the new Game and Fish Lab/Regional Office building in Laramie and the Whiskey Mountain Conservation Camp Renovation Project. The Commission will also review and vote on a proposal that changes the leftover license sale to a draw, effective for the 2017 leftover sale.
In-person public comment periods for feedback are on April 19 and 20; an agenda can be found on the Commission website. The meeting will also be live-streamed online. Learn more and watch here.
