Game and Fish Commission invites public to Gillette in September

The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission’s next meeting is Sept. 19, 2017 and the public is invited to attend and provide input. The meeting will be held in Gillette at the Alan Mickelson Fire Training Center, 701 Larch Street.

Topics the Commission will address at this meeting include informational presentations on elk license allocation, the current laws and regulations for landowner licenses, elk feedgrounds in Wyoming, and new emerging technologies used to take wildlife. The Commission will also be asked to vote to approve Game and Fish Policy VI A, Access to Records and Information. This proposed policy would set up how the Department will implement the state law, which keeps private personal information like email addresses confidential unless an individual wants it to be public.

In-person public comment opportunities are on Sept. 19 at the end of the day; an agenda can be found on the Commission webpage. The meeting will also be live-streamed on the Internet. Learn more and watch here.
