Heading Location: Begins at the gabion barrier and extends upstream to the extent of the CRC conservation population.

How to get there: Travel west on La Barge Creek Rd (Co Rd 315) from La Barge past Viola. Turn right on a 2-track road about 14.5 miles down Co Rd 315 (away from highway 189) and travel up this path about 1/3 mile to where the path ends in a natural parking area. This portion of the watershed is on State-owned land. A little further up the watershed is BLM land. The study site is adjacent to the parking area and the gabion structure blocking fish passage serves as the downstream end of the instream flow segment.
