How to get there - Take Highway 290 west from Meeteetse WY 11.9 miles. Where Highway 290 (paved road) ends, stay right on the Pitchfork Road (USFS road 208; county road 4LX) for 19.9 miles to the Jack Creek trailhead. From the trailhead, take the Piney Creek Trail north to the Piney Creek instream flow segment.
