Heading Location: Confluence with South Paint Rock Creek upstream to confluence with Spring Branch.

How to get there: Travel on state highway 16 east from Tensleep or west from Buffalo. Turn to the west on Forest Rd 27 toward Deer Haven Lodge (west of Meadowlark Lake). Cross over Tensleep Creek and turn right (still on FR 27). Travel approximately 1 mile to a fork in the road and turn left onto Forest Rd 24. This road tends to be rough so take it slow. After 10.3 miles on Forest Rd 24, turn left onto Forest Rd 360 and travel another 3/4 mile to the sign restricting any further vehicle travel. Park here and hike or use an ATV to access the stream.
