The Access Yes Program gives you more places to hunt and fish in Wyoming. Your donations help the Wyoming Game and Fish Department enhance and maintain public hunting and fishing access onto Wyoming private and landlocked public lands. Game and Fish works with private landowners to enroll their property into their choice of three access programs: hunter management areas, walk-in hunting and/or walk-in fishing.

Donations help fund new and existing access opportunities. For every $1 donated, 3.1 acres of access are provided through Access Yes. In 2018, donations helped provide access for hunting to over 2.8 million acres of private, state and otherwise inaccessible public land through walk-in hunting areas and hunter management areas. For fishing, 4,006 lake acres and 86 stream miles of access was provided in Wyoming through the walk-in fishing areas.

Due to the generous donations from conservation groups, community organizations, hunters, anglers and the public, there is increased access for hunting and fishing, improved big game population management and decreased agricultural damage through hunter harvest. This is a win-win for hunters, anglers and landowners alike.

We greatly appreciate all who donate to Access Yes. If you’ve never donated before, we ask you to consider it the next time you buy or apply for a license; you can see the difference it makes for hunting and fishing access. For more information on Access Yes areas, visit our Access Yes website.
