Brood stocks or brood fish are a group of mature fish used in aquaculture for breeding purposes.
Your Wyoming Game and Fish Department operates ten hatcheries / rearing stations and the people who work at these facilities manage 10 captive brood stocks.

- Fall Rainbow at the Boulder Rearing Station
- Colorado River Cutthroat at the Daniel Hatchery
- Golden Trout, Brown Trout, Eagle Lake Rainbow, Brook Trout and Lake Trout at the Story Hatchery
- Yellowstone Cutthroat at the Ten Sleep Hatchery
- Bear River Cutthroat at the Wigwam Rearing Station
