In the Southwest corner of Wyoming north of Evanston, Woodruff Narrows Reservoir Public Access Area (PAA) can be found. The access areas provide parking with restrooms, and one boat ramp. The reservoir holds irrigation water from the Bear River and supports a Bear River Cutthrout trout fishery with Yellow Perch as a must kill nongame species. Camping in the access sites is limited to 14 days. Antelope, rabbits, Sage grouse, waterfowl, and other wildlife can be viewed from the access areas. Hunting and fishing is permitted on reservoir company property. It is the sportsperson’s responsibility to determine land boundaries, please respect private property. No fireworks or littering permitted. Take Highway 89 north from Evanston 12 miles traveling through the town of Bear River, WY turn onto Unita County Rd 101 and follow it to the access areas and reservoir. Access roads and parking areas not plowed during winter season.
